Privacy Policy

Before you publish: this is a working template, not legal advice. Fill in every [BRACKETED] field with your real details and have it checked by a qualified adviser in your country — if you sell to EU customers, GDPR applies to you as the seller.

This policy explains what personal data Coursent collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to coursent.net and to anything you buy from us.

1. Who we are

Coursent is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registration number [REG. NO.], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

Questions or requests: help.coursent@gmail.com.

2. What we collect and why

We do not see or store your card details at any point. Payments are handled entirely by Gumroad.

3. Who processes data for us

Some of these providers are outside the EU/EEA. Where that is the case, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

4. Cookies

We use one small essential item of local storage to remember your cookie choice. Nothing else is set unless you press "Accept analytics" in the banner — analytics scripts are not loaded until you do. You can change your mind any time using Cookie settings in the site footer, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.

5. How long we keep things

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; or hand it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — that doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Email help.coursent@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the data protection supervisory authority in the country where you live.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, payment and file delivery run on Gumroad's infrastructure, and access to our accounts is protected by strong, unique credentials and two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we don't hold card data or passwords, which removes the biggest risks.

8. Children

Coursent is sold to adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top and, where the change affects you meaningfully, say so on the site.
